Birth Affirmations

Throughout pregnancy and childbirth, the mind plays a profound role, shaping not only the experience itself but also the outcome. Believe it or not, we know that fear can impact labor! Because of this, one powerful tool is to use birth affirmations. Because of my faith, I have made a list of birth affirmations that use truth from the Bible.

These Biblical birth affirmations are concise, truthful statements that you (or anyone supporting you) can repeat to remind yourself of the truth of God’s word during pregnancy and in labor. Using Scripture and these affirmations can be powerful reminders of your ability to give birth to your baby with courage and grace, regardless of the circumstances.

Birth Affirmations:

1. I have been perfectly designed to give birth.

2. God is with me and He loves me.

3. I am strong because God gives me strength.

4. Each contraction brings my baby closer to meeting me.

5. God loves my baby.

6. Birth was designed by our Heavenly Father.

7. God is completely in control.

8. God’s love surrounds me and strengthens me.
